OUR STORY

The STARTING POINT Professional Services ("The STARTING Point") is a registered Canadian general partnership in the BC Southern Interior founded by Victoria + Justin Jaenig. The Jaenig's registered their name and partnership in February of 2017 and within months the STARTING Point Professional Services began successfully hosting training sessions, social events and networking activities.

The STARTING POINT Professional Services was founded by husband and wife team, Victoria + Justin Jaenig in February 2017.

Managing Partner/ Lead Facilitator

Victoria Jaenig

Victoria has a background in media, arts, communications, business, marketing, Aboriginal business, First Nations community and Indigenous knowledge and protocols.

Founding Partner/ Proect Lead

Justin Jaenig

Justin pursues outdoor living, bushcraft, archery and food soveriegnty. He is always learning and applying sustainable practices for growing, harvesting, preserving and preparing natural materials into consumable meals, useful products or implements.

Indigenous Knowledge & Language Consultant

Richard 'caylx' Armstrong

The STARTING POINT consults with syilx elder Richard Armstrong regarding syilx protocols and practices or the nsyilxcen language.
